What makes me tick?

I enjoy understanding the issues that matter most to clients and developing practical strategies to resolve difficult disputes. Litigation often involves complex legal, commercial and personal considerations, so I believe effective representation begins with listening carefully and understanding the wider circumstances. Problem solving, strategic thinking and achieving meaningful outcomes for clients continue to be the most rewarding aspects of my work.

My experience

I have more than 30 years of experience dealing with legal disputes and complex contentious matters. Throughout my career, I have advised individuals, businesses and organisations on civil and commercial litigation, contractual disputes, professional negligence, property disputes and significant financial claims. I also have extensive experience in negotiation and alternative dispute resolution, with a strong focus on resolving matters efficiently while protecting each client's legal and commercial interests.

Outside of work.

Outside of professional life, I enjoy reading, gardening and taking an active interest in my local community. I value spending time with family and friends and enjoy opportunities to travel and experience new places. I also have a longstanding interest in current affairs, history and the continuing development of the legal profession.
