What makes me tick?

I believe that effective criminal defence begins with treating every client with dignity, respect and understanding. People facing criminal allegations are often dealing with considerable uncertainty and pressure, and I believe they should receive clear advice without unnecessary legal jargon. I enjoy analysing difficult cases, challenging evidence where appropriate and developing a defence strategy that protects the client's rights and interests throughout the legal process.

My experience

I have extensive experience advising and supporting clients in a wide range of criminal and regulatory matters. My work includes serious and complex criminal allegations, fraud and financial crime, police and regulatory investigations, white-collar crime and court proceedings. I also have experience assisting with appeals, confiscation and asset recovery matters and cases involving substantial financial or commercial considerations. My approach is focused on careful case preparation, detailed analysis of the evidence and providing clients with practical strategic advice at every stage.

Outside of work.

Outside of work, I enjoy keeping active and taking on new challenges. I have a particular interest in running, cycling, walking and other outdoor activities. I also enjoy travelling, kayaking, attending live music events and spending time with family and friends. Exploring new places and taking on demanding outdoor challenges provides a welcome balance to professional life.
